MAPEI Returns to Andretti Global for 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Season

January 7, 2025 by Editor

From Andretti Global

After an exciting debut season with Andretti Global in 2024, MAPEI, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of chemical products for the building industry, will return for their second season of NTT INDYCAR SERIES competition in 2025 with the team’s INDYCAR outfit. MAPEI will once again serve as the primary partner for the No. 98 MAPEI / CURB Honda piloted by Marco Andretti at the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. In addition to being showcased at the famed 500-Mile race, MAPEI will continue to serve as an official partner on the No. 27 Honda piloted by Kyle Kirkwood for the entirety of the 2025 INDYCAR season.

“Our partnership with MAPEI over the 2024 season was such an excellent addition to our Andretti INDYCAR program,” said Doug Bresnahan, Chief Commercial Officer at Andretti Global. “The constant of the MAPEI brand on Kyle Kirkwood’s No. 27 throughout the full season paired with MAPEI’s increased presence as the primary partner for Marco Andretti’s No. 98 at the 2024 Indianapolis 500 was the perfect way for our team to expose a new partner to all the great opportunities the NTT INDYCAR SERIES has to offer, and we are honored to have MAPEI back on board in 2025 for what is sure be another exciting season.”

Known for exceptional products and system solutions in the construction industry, including contributing to the construction of some of the most important architectural and infrastructure works worldwide, MAPEI’s innovative prowess, commitment to excellence and attention to detail have been a welcome addition to a global motorsport organization that prioritizes similar values.

“Performance, precision and passion — these values unite MAPEI and Andretti Global,” said Luigi Di Geso, President and CEO of MAPEI North America. “With Marco Andretti in the No. 98 and Kyle Kirkwood in the No. 27, we are poised for another thrilling season in 2025.”

Back for his landmark 20th start at the Indianapolis 500, and second piloting the No. 98 MAPEI / CURB Honda, Andretti will look to build on his already impressive resume at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval including a pole position in 2020, four top-three finishes and eight top-10 results. Kirkwood will once again represent MAPEI in his fourth NTT INDYCAR SERIES season with hopes of continuing the momentum from his 2024 campaign that saw the American driver record five top-five finishes, a podium and a season finale pole position.

MAPEI will be back on track for the first time in 2025 on Kirkwood’s No. 27 Honda at the season opener on the Streets of St. Petersburg Feb 28-March 2. The Andretti Herta with Marco Andretti and Curb-Agajanian No. 98 entry will take to the track in the full MAPEI livery for the first time in late April in preparation for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 at the INDYCAR IMS Open Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
